The short version
StampMyPDF processes your PDF and your signature image entirely inside your own browser. Your files are never uploaded to, or stored on, any server we operate. We don't currently require an account, and we don't currently run advertising or analytics on this site.
What we don't collect
- The PDF you upload
- The photo or image of your signature
- The signed PDF you download
None of these ever leave your device. You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while you use the tool, and you'll see no file being sent anywhere.
What's saved on your own device
If you use the tool more than once, your browser can remember your extracted signature and ink preferences so you don't have to redo them — this is stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device, is never transmitted anywhere, and you can delete it at any time using the "Clear saved signature" link in the site footer.
What we may collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information — things like your approximate location by country, browser type, and pages visited — for security and performance purposes. This is standard web server behavior, not something specific to how StampMyPDF works.
If we add advertising or analytics
We may in the future work with an advertising partner, such as Google AdSense, to keep this tool free. If and when that happens:
- This page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above.
- Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to show relevant ads and measure performance. This never involves your PDF or signature files — only standard browsing data, handled under the partner's own privacy policy (for Google, see policies.google.com/technologies/ads).
- Where required (for example, for visitors in the EU/UK under GDPR), a cookie consent option will be added before any such cookies are set.
Your rights
